Business Facilitation

The Government of Jamaica has taken steps to improve business facilitation and to reduce bureaucratic and other bottlenecks to speedy project implementation.  The Government is determined to carry out in an effective and efficient manner its role as a facilitator in areas of investment and trade, and in this connection has identified priority implementation measures aimed at improving the local business environment.

Constraints and impediments to trade and business are brought to the attention of the Ministry, and are addressed with support from other relevant Government Ministries, Agencies and Departments.
