Consumer Affairs
Charged with responsibility for consumer affairs, the Ministry works to ensure the education, information and protection of consumers. The Ministry monitors the marketplace and seeks to promote adherence to fair trading practices and business operations within a competitive environment.
Consumer-related information can also be obtained from:
- Consumer Affairs Commission (An Agency of the Government of Jamaica)
- National Consumer’s League (A non-Government Organisation)
The Commerce Division of the Ministry has responsibility for consumer affairs.
