Free Zone Development

The Industry Division of the Ministry has responsibility for the free zone policy. In addition to the Single Entity Free Zones, such as Cazoumar, Portmore Informatics Park and e-Services (Naggo’s Head), the major free zone areas are:

• Kingston Free Zone
• Montego Bay Free Zone
• Garmex Free Zone.

The Industry Division also facilitates firms which move goods from the free zone to the Customs Territory. The Division also works in close collaboration with JAMPRO on matters relating to the free zones.
