Under the direct supervision of the FAO Representative, the National Consultant – Programme Support will be responsible for the coordination of the technical and operational support of the ongoing programme and project activities of the FAO Representation.
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Jamaica Dairy Development Board (JDDB), the Project Coordinator, is responsible for planning, monitoring and evaluating the execution of the Dairy Sector Revitalization Programme consistent with the established objectives and targets; providing technical guidance to the animal breeding and husbandry and pasture development activities of the project; liaising with the PC Banks and ensuring the effective monitoring of loan projects and collaborating with RADA, Producer’s Organizations and other relevant agencies in the development and execution of appropriate training programmes for beef and dairy producers.
