Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Audley Shaw (right), converses with Acting Mission Director, United States Agency for International Development, Andrew Colburn, at the Sandals Resort International/ The Nature Conservancy Sustainable Fisheries Forum, held in Ocho Rios on Thursday, April 19, 2018. The aim of the forum was to facilitate discussions about the threats facing the island’s parrotfish population, the implications of these threats and possible solutions.

The Ministry, working its stakeholders is primarily responsible for business policy development, monitoring and evaluation, while giving direction and oversight to a cluster of implementing departments and agencies.
