NCB Merchant Advance Credit Facility

This facility enables SME card merchants to use their future debit and credit card receivables to access affordable financing on an unsecured basis, to be utilized primarily for working capital support.

This facility provides unsecured financing to the Bank’s existing SME customers for short-term business needs.

Nutraceutical Training Programmes

The offering of this programme is aimed at enhancing MSMEs involvement in agriculture through training and the production of nutraceutical plants. Participants are exposed to the agronomical practices in agriculture and it is hoped that they will see agriculture as a viable career option.

The Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce is described as Jamaica's "Business Ministry." It's mandate is to lead the development of policies that will create growth and jobs, while achieving social inclusion and consumer protection. The Ministry, working its stakeholders is primarily responsible for business policy development, monitoring and evaluation, while giving direction and oversight to a cluster of implementing departments and agencies.

We have, therefore, placed much energy and enthusiasm into the development of this website to provide timely information on the Ministry, our agencies and programmes.
