Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Audley Shaw, speaking at the opening ceremony of the 3rd staging of the Jamaican Medical Cannabis Integration Symposium (JAMECANN 2018), under the theme ‘Merging Science, Spirit and Business’, hosted by the College of Health Sciences, UTech, Kingston, on Thursday, July 5, 2018. The objective of the two-day symposium (July 5 and 6) is to showcase the advances that have been made in the Jamaican and International medical cannabis sector, and to provide opportunities for building research networks.
