Recorgo Holt, Marketing Manager at the Rural Agricultural Development Authority, addressing farmers on marketing requirements at the National Irish Potato Sensitization Meeting, held in Christiana, Manchester, on October 4, 2018. The target for the 2018-2019 crop year is for some 1,200 hectares of Irish potatoes to be planted to meet the national demand of 17,000 tonnes.
