EATING JAMAICAN: Dermon Spence, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries (MICAF), samples pineapple wine and breadfruit bread on display at the Jamaica Agricultural Society’s booth at the Eat Jamaican Day Expo held at Devon House in St. Andrew on November 25, 2019. Organised by the Jamaica Agricultural Society in collaboration with MICAF, Eat Jamaican Day is celebrated under the theme ‘Grow What We Eat…Eat What we Grow’ and is aimed at encouraging all Jamaicans to eat more local produce in support of our farmers and the local economy.
