The award was part of the prestigious Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association’s (JMEA’s) Manufacturers and Exporters (M&E) Awards, held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
The award, which recognizes outstanding achievement in the utilization of trade agreements by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with total export sales of US$500,000 to US$3 Million, was won by PA Benjamin Manufacturing Company Limited, renowned for producing and exporting Jamaican-made products for over a century.
Christopher Powell, Director & Factory Manager at PA Benjamin Manufacturing Company Ltd, accepted the award on behalf of the company, which was presented by Senator Aubyn Hill, Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce (MIIC).
In presenting the award, Minister Hill emphasized the significance of P.A.
