Access Insolvency Support For Your Business

The Office of the Supervisor of Insolvency (OSI) provides guidance and oversight for individuals and businesses experiencing financial difficulties, as well as professionals involved in insolvency matters.

You may contact the OSI if you are:

·      Uncertain about your insolvency status and need clarification.

·      An individual or business owing $300,000 or more, residing in, owning property, or conducting business in Jamaica, and are unable to pay your debts.

·      An individual or business that owes $300,000 or more and anticipates being unable to pay debts within the next year (imminent insolvency).

·      Applying for a Trustee Licence to operate as an insolvency practitioner.

·      Applying to be approved as a Financial Counsellor.

·      A Trustee or Insolvency Practitioner, including the Government Trustee, seeking support or regulatory guidance.

·      A Complainant (any person with an interest in an insolvent estate) wishing to raise concerns.
