COJ Sets Up Help Desk to Assist Customers with Their Applications

The Companies Office of Jamaica (COJ) has established a Rejection Help Desk to assist customers facing issues with their applications.
Designed to reduce the number of documents that are rejected due to inaccuracies and incompetencies, this initiative is one of the crucial steps the COJ has taken to make doing business easier.
Manager for Anti-Money Laundering at the COJ, Inger Hainsley-Bennett, told JIS News that “persons who have issues completing their applications can now receive assistance from our internal staff, who will provide personalised guidance to help rectify any problems with their documents”.
“This hands-on support ensures that when customers resubmit their applications, they meet all the necessary requirements for approval,” she added, while addressing a recent Jamaica Information Service (JIS) Think Tank.
With this enhancement, customers can expect a more streamlined and efficient process when dealing with the COJ, as the company aims to eliminate the stress and heartache of rejections, allowing businesses to operate smoothly and with confidence.
The Manager reiterated that “what is important for us is to change how we treat our customers and how we manage our processes”.
“By introducing the Rejection Help Desk and re-engineering our registration process, we are ensuring that persons can do business easily and efficiently with the COJ,” she said.
The COJ is dedicated to facilitating the formation and development of businesses in Jamaica.
It provides a range of services to support business registration, compliance, and growth.
Its mission is to ensure that the processes are efficient, transparent, and customer friendly.
