TERMS OF REFERENCE - NATIONAL QUALITY POLICY IMPLEMENTATION COORDINATOR


The implementation Coordinator is expected to guide the execution of the strategies in the Implementation Plan for the National Quality Policy (NQP) towards achieving the desired results. The Coordinator will also provide critical insight of the field of quality internationally, the national quality perspectives and dynamics as well as an understanding of the intent and impact of Quality on boosting exports and creating jobs. 

Remuneration: $7,868,004 per annum

Position Requirements: 
  • A postgraduate technical degree in sciences, engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of the World Trade Organizations – Technical Barriers to Trade Agreement
  • Training/qualification in project management
  • 10 years’ experience in working with national and regional quality infrastructure organizations and their activities.
  • Proven track record in achieving results on the ground, and supporting clients in initiating and implementing programs/projects with developmental impact
  • Experience advising clients, management and other staff on important program or policy issues, and contributing new or innovative approaches that achieve results.
  • Excellent written and oral reporting skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Demonstration of being dynamic and goal oriented team manager
