The Hazardous Substances Regulatory Authority (HSRA), an agency of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, wishes to advise stakeholders that importers and exporters of radioactive material and ionizing radiation-emitting equipment are required to possess a valid permit issued by the HSRA. The Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) and National Compliance and Regulatory Authority (NCRA) are encouraging manufacturers, distributors and importers of hand sanitisers to take in a sample of their product for conformity testing and validation of the integrity of product content. Jamaica has been removed from the United States Trade Representative watch list, which the country has been on for decades. Cut In Export Fees A Boost For Manufacturers – Floyd Green

Floyd Green, says the 50 per cent cut in export-related fees and charges will enable more businesses to tap into the export market and boost Jamaica’s competitiveness internationally.
