A Government scheme that allows companies to import certain items duty-free in areas such as agriculture and tourism generated benefits totalling $1.4 billion for the period 2021 - 2023, Industry, Investment and Commerce Minister Aubyn Hill says. LONDON: Senator Aubyn Hill, Jamaica’s minister of industry, investment and commerce, has promoted the island as a good place to do business as “it is the only country in the Western Hemisphere with a post-pandemic positive economic recovery rate”.
