Deputy Chief of Mission, United States Embassy, John. W. McIntyre (left), greets Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. The signing of the Development Credit Authority Loan Portfolio Guarantee Agreement will assist Small and Medium Enterprises across the Caribbean. SMEs with collateral constraints can now access financing for Energy Savings Projects, Clean Energy Production Projects, as well as general business development. Additionally, NCB will be better equipped to help create the optimal environment for economic development through this initiative, and numerous programmes, products and services designed to strengthen Jamaica’s SMEs.
