Deputy Director, Traditional Knowledge Division, Global, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Wend Wendland, speaking at the National Consultative Workshop on Issues and Options in Developing a National Policy Legislation on Intellectual Property and the Protection of Traditional Knowledge, Traditional Cultural Expressions and Genetic Resources. The workshop, organized by the Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO), an agency of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, was held at the Ministry’s New Kingston offices, on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.
