Hon J.C. Hutchinson (3rd left), Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, views seeds on display at the 21st staging of the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) St Thomas Open Day, held on June 28 at the Rudolph Elder Park in Morant Bay. Others from left are Bevin Martin Dickenson, Parish Agricultural Manager, Melvina Phidd, board member, RADA St. Thomas, and Richard Grant, Marketing Development Officer, H&L Agro. Organised by the Ministry, RADA and the Technical Centre for Cooperation on Agriculture, a seed fair was introduced as part of the Open Day, aimed at providing information to farmers on the varieties, types of drought and disease-tolerant seeds and planting material that are available.
