The Standard covers general safety requirements of electrical appliances for household and similar purposes and outlines the necessary tests and safety conditions required to protect consumers against the hazards of electricity or electrical equipment. The launch was held at the BSJ’s Multi-Purpose Facility, Winchester Road, Kingston, on Friday, March 2, 2018.
