Hon Karl Samuda, Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, launches the 14th Annual Eat Jamaican Month at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries’ Hope Gardens offices in Kingston on Wednesday, November 1. Others from left are Permanent Secretary Donovan Stanberry and Norman Grant, President of the Jamaica Agricultural Society. Under the theme ‘Grow What We Eat, Eat What We Grow’, the Eat Jamaican Month campaign is aimed at encouraging consumers to eat more locally grown produce thereby supporting expanded production of our farmers and reducing our food import bill.
