Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries (MICAF), Hon. Karl Samuda (centre), in dialogue with Agricultural Marketing Director, MICAF, Sandor Pike; and Regional Director, BMR Energy LLC, Ava Tomlin, at the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the development of Renewable Energy Infrastructure, held at the Ministry’s New Kingston offices, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. The MOU signing was between the Sugar Company of Jamaica and BMR Energy LLC. Under the MoU, solar energy will be provided to the Monymusk Sugar Factory to power its irrigation system.
