Minister Shaw Discusses Jamaica’s Investment Opportunities with Prisma Reports for Special Foreign Policy Magazine Feature

Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Hon. Audley Shaw has informed Prisma Reports of several investment opportunities in Jamaica even as the country strategizes its economic recovery from the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Speaking with Prisma reporter Marie Leclercq in a virtual interview today, Minister Shaw noted areas of investment appeal within the manufacturing, agri-business, global services and e-commerce sectors, among others, identified by Jamaica’s lead investment agency, JAMPRO.
The industry minister also outlined the successes and initiatives under the government’s Trade Facilitation Programme aimed at improving the business environment and reducing the cost and time of doing business in Jamaica, among other areas.
The special report, due to be published in the first quarter of 2021, will cover several sectors in Jamaica with Prisma Reports also having interviewed the Minister of Finance and the Public Service, Dr. Hon. Nigel Clarke and Tourism Minister, Hon. Edmund Bartlett.
