EAT JAMAICAN DEMONSTRATION: Celebrity Chef, Hon Audley Shaw, Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, presents sample of chicken burger to a student at the Emmanuel Christian Academy & Preparatory School in St. Andrew on November 19, 2019. The occasion was the Eat Jamaican Celebrity Chef School Tour, one of several activities organised by the Jamaica Agricultural Society, Rural Agricultural Authority, and the Ministry in commemoration of the annual Eat Jamaican Month. Held under the theme ‘Grow What We Eat…Eat What We Grow’, Eat Jamaican Month is aimed at encouraging Jamaicans to eat more locally grown food.
