Farmer from East Kirkland Heights, St. Andrew, Glenroy Crossman, had brought a carload of mainly fruits and vegetables to Friday’s (June 3) farmers’ market held at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries ’ Hope Gardens playfield. Included were lettuce, cantaloupe, water melon, pineapple, scallion, and pak choi. Hundreds of residents of Clifton in South St. Catherine are to benefit from free skills training and titles for the lands they occupy, as part of Government’s programme to transform the former sugar-dependent area. H&L Agro Donates $2 Million In Agricultural Inputs To Farmers

Hardware & Lumber (H&L) Agro has donated $2 million in agricultural inputs to assist small farmers who have been impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The inputs, which include fertilisers, pesticides and seeds, were handed over to Minister of Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Companies can get TCC at COJ upon Registration

Companies are able to obtain a Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) at the Companies Office of Jamaica (COJ) upon the registration of a name. The TCC, which is processed by Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ), is an important document issued to an individual or company as proof that they are tax compliant and their payments of tax liabilities and wage-related statutory deductions are up to date. The TCC, issued upon registration, is valid for three months. Once expired, the customer will have to engage TAJ.
