
Racquel White
Profile
Racquel White is a seasoned research and policy analyst with over 25 years of experience in consumer education, research, and the development of consumer protection policies at the Consumer Affairs Commission—an agency of the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce.
She holds a Commonwealth Executive Master of Public Administration (Distinction) from the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean and a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies and Accounting from the University of the West Indies, Mona. Mrs. White has also completed certificate-level training in Social Research Methods, Policy Analysis, Strategic and Corporate Planning, and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems. She is trained in Gender Mainstreaming and served as the Commission’s first Gender Focal Point, helping the agency achieve gender certification.
A key achievement in her career was the development of the draft National Consumer Protection and Welfare Policy and Implementation Plan in 2021.
Beyond her professional life, Racquel is actively involved in her church choir, local missions, and evangelism ministries. She is also a skilled graphic designer and a dedicated peer counsellor. Married to Garfield White, Racquel is a woman of faith who believes that “…all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
