Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to mark first shipment of bananas from Jamaica to Trinidad

Karl Samuda (centre) and General Manager of The Banana Board, Janet Conie to symbolically mark the first shipment of bananas from Jamaica to Trinidad, at the AMC Complex, Spanish Town Road, on Thursday, December 21, 2017. The government has been working to consistently increase banana export through the Banana Export Expansion Programme and will be shipping one container of bananas per week to Trinidad as part of that thrust.
