Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries (MICAF), Hon. The visiting delegation met with Minister Samuda to provide an update on activities at the Monymusk and Frome Sugar factories and to discuss the way forward for the industry.

Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries Minister, Hon. Karl Samuda has reiterated that the Government through the Ministry is committed to the growth and development of the sugar industry in Jamaica. The Minister noted that despite the many challenges that the industry is facing, if properly managed, it is sustainable.
