Minister Shaw in discussion with Ambassador of Mexico

Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Audley Shaw (right), in discussion with Ambassador of Mexico, H. E. During the meeting a range of bilateral issues were discussed, covering areas such as manufacturing, agro processing, deep sea shrimp farming as well as opportunities for increased investments between both countries.

Hutchinson proposes restitution for victims of praedial larceny

Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, the Hon J.C. Hutchinson, has reiterated his proposal for a revision of the Agricultural Produce Act to include restitution for farmers who are victims of praedial larceny. Minister Shaw wants to see more Mexican investments in Jamaica

Audley Shaw, says that he would like to see more Mexican investments in Jamaica. “We have had several investments in the hotel industry. Now, we really have to look at other sectors and opportunities where we can increase investments, not only in the hotel industry, but other areas”, Minister Shaw said.
