Ganja Growers Encouraged To Participate In Alternative Development Programme

Minister of State in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon Floyd Green, is encouraging ganja growers to get involved in the Government’s Alternative Development Programme. He noted that emphasis has been placed on increasing the number of community groups of traditional growers to participate in the programme. The programme aims to prevent and eliminate the illicit cultivation of ganja and channel the process through legal streams. Yam Production Up In 2019

Minister of State in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon Floyd Green, says that there has been an increase in yam production in 2019 with major improvement being experienced in the lifecyle and crop yield of sweet yam.
