Top performers in the 2022 Scotiabank Vision Achiever Programme, Kiddist Cowans of Jesse’s Gifts and Decor; Nastasia Morrison of HomeMaid; and Rushane Somas of Somas Furnishings, have been rewarded. Intelcia Projects 23 Per Cent Increase in Employees by Year End

Global outsourcing company Intelcia is projecting a 23 per cent increase in its employees by the end of 2022. The company, which currently has 608 employees, is expecting to employ an additional 142 persons by the end of this year. The Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce is described as Jamaica's "Business Ministry." It's mandate is to lead the development of policies that will create growth and jobs, while achieving social inclusion and consumer protection. The Ministry, working its stakeholders is primarily responsible for business policy development, monitoring and evaluation, while giving direction and oversight to a cluster of implementing departments and agencies.
