Minister of Industry, Investment & Commerce Senator the Honourable Aubyn Hill (centre) leads a small delegation of sponsors through the MSME Expo Village at the MSME Business Roadshow. The group engaged Orane Loutin (right), owner of Loutin's Castor Oil, a cold-pressed agro-processing business started in 2021. Accompanying Minister Hill on the Tour was: (from left) Travell Mullings – Manager, Loans & Customer Relationship Management at the Development Bank of Jamaica; Kayla Grant – Senior Sector Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank; Dr. Taneisha Ingleton – Managing Director for the HEART/NSTA Trust. Mr. Loutin was among 30 entrepreneurs hosted in the MSME Expo Village at the Roadshow held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Twickenham Park Church of the Open Bible in Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

The Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce is described as Jamaica's "Business Ministry." It's mandate is to lead the development of policies that will create growth and jobs, while achieving social inclusion and consumer protection. The Ministry, working its stakeholders is primarily responsible for business policy development, monitoring and evaluation, while giving direction and oversight to a cluster of implementing departments and agencies.
