Minister of Industry, Commerce Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Audley Shaw, speaking at the launch of Mission:FoodPossible at St. John’s Primary School, St. Catherine, on Friday, February 1, 2019. This initiative, conceptualised and founded by New York-based Jamaican chef and past student of the school, Peter Ivey, will seek to utilize Jamaica’s indigenous produce such as pumpkin, cassava, yams and green bananas, along with other local produce, to provide nutritious and low budget meals in creative ways for the children.
