Floyd Green, speaking at the launch of Intellectual Property (IP) Week 2019, at JAMPRO’s Business Auditorium, Trafalgar Road, Kingston, on Tuesday, April 23. Seated at the head table is Executive Director, Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO), Lilyclaire Bellamy. JIPO is observing IP Week from April 23-28, under the theme ‘IP and Sports Reach for Gold’. IP Week is Jamaica’s celebrations surrounding World Intellectual Property Day (April 26) observed by JIPO’s international partner, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)- celebrating innovation and creativity while promoting intellectual property’s role in fostering and encouraging them.
