Minister Samuda, Ambassador Wasilewska and Professor Vasciannie after signing contract with the EU

Karl Samuda; Head of Delegation to the European Union (EU), Jamaica, Ambasssador Malgorzata Wasilewska; and President, University of Technology, Professor Stephen Vasciannie, shake hands after signing a contract for the establishment of small business enterprises for residents of sugar- dependent areas, which forms part of the Sugar Transformation Programme being implemented by the Ministry.. The signing was held at the Ministry’s New Kingston office, on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. The EU grant-funded contract is valued at $11m.
