Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries (MICAF), Hon. Audley Shaw (centre), greets Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Inés Fors Fernández, during a courtesy call at the Ministry’s New Kingston offices on Monday, April 16, 2018. At right is Minister without Portfolio at MICAF, Hon. J.C. Hutchinson. The visit comes against the background of an inward mission organized by JAMPRO, to facilitate investment between Cuba and Jamaica. JAMPRO has been undertaking various activities in recent years under its Cuba Market Development Programme with the view of generating US$20M by 2020 through inroads in the Cuban hospitality sector.
