Hon Audley Shaw (right), Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, greets Dr. Elizabeth Johnson, Country Representative at the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture, at the launch of the MSc in Integrated Rural Development programme at the University of Technology, Jamaica on February 7, 2019 in St. Andrew. Others from left are Claire Bernard, Deputy Director General , Planning Institute of Jamaica, and Julia Bonner Douett, director of the Standards Division at the Bureau of Standards Jamaica. The MIRD programme is the first of its kind to be established in the English-speaking Caribbean.
