First shipment of Spring Gardens Processors to export markets in Canada

Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Hon. Audley Shaw, observing the first shipment of the Spring Gardens Processors to export to markets identified in Canada, at the Agricultural Marketing Corporation (AMC) Complex, Spanish Town Road, Kingston on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
The event was organized by the Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) under its Export Max III, the export development programme initiative of JAMPRO.
Spring Gardens Processors (SGP) is a food processor and fresh produce exporter of Jamaican fruits and vegetables. The company sells products on a wholesale basis to brokers, distributors, wholesalers and retailers. Spring Gardens Processors was successful in securing a large export contract for canned ackees, dry products, fresh Jamaican fruits and vegetables to a distributor in Canada with over 1000 retail partners.
