State Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Delano Seiveright, says the Cannabis Licensing Authority’s islandwide Special Cannabis Permit Road Tour is another step on the mission to create opportunities for investors in the local cannabis industry.
Speaking at the launch of the road tour in Newell, St. Elizabeth last Friday, Minister Seiveright said the road tour will take the regulator directly into cultivation communities to provide guidance.

He says the outreach follows a series of reforms spearheaded by the Ministry including the new Cultivator’s Special Permit, and the Special Community Permit.
Agriculture Minister Floyd Green also spoke at the event. He encouraged farmers hoping to invest to ensure they follow the rule book.
