URGENT RECALL OF 18” LEGEND AIR CIRCULATOR FANS

Kingston, Jamaica: The National Compliance and Regulatory Authority (NCRA) is issuing an immediate recall of all 18 inch Legend Air Circulator Fans bearing box number PI-18066LA5AB and PI-18066LA7AB which were purchased from:
My Choice Jamaica Limited, located at
Unit 3A
LOJ Commercial Center
Freeport, Montego Bay.
Persons who have purchased the Legend brand of 18 inch Air Circulator Fans with box numbers PI-18066LA5AB and PI-18066LA7AB are being warned to stop using them immediately and return same to the point of purchase, as these fans are deemed a safety hazard based on non-conformance with standard specification requirements.
Consumers with questions may contact the NCRA Import and Domestic Commodities Inspectorate, through the Communication and Customer Branch, between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm at 876 618-1534 or 632-4275 or 926-3140. Consumers may also send a direct WhatsApp message to 876-289-6272.
Please note, any adverse reactions experienced should be communicated immediately to the Consumer Affairs Commission (CAC).
