The Praedial Larceny Prevention Unit (PLPU) of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture & Fisheries is ramping up its public education campaign, as it continues to ensure that Jamaican farmers reap what they grow. AGRO-PARKS PROJECT TO BE EXPANDED – MINISTER SAMUDA

The agro-parks project is being expanded, with some 3,000 acres of irrigated lands at Ebony Park and Spring Plain in Clarendon to be available for production shortly. Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. Karl Samuda, made the disclosure, while addressing the St. Mary Agri-Expo held at the Gray's Inn Complex in Annotto Bay on March 28. More resources are to be made available to the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA), to assist local farmers. Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Hon. J.C.
