A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed on June 30 between the EXIM Bank and Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) to provide export development support for 48 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking to access new markets for their products and services. Farmer Shermaine Barnett has high praises for the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA) for the support given to her in the development of her sweet yam farm in Endeavour in the parish of St. Ann. Jamaica records 12 per cent increase in sweet yam under Production Incentive Programme

There has been a 12 per cent increase in sweet yam production under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries’ Production Incentive Programme for the 2019/20 fiscal year when compared to the corresponding period of 2018/19.
