iStrategy Limited was established to assist MSMEs unleash their full potential through data analytics. We obtain data from a wide range of sources such as the internet, industry performance, financial and non-financial information obtained from MSMEs. This analysis will answer four main questions:

  • What happened?
  • Why did this happen?
  • What is likely to happen?
  • What action to take?

Our suite of business services seeks to answer those four vital questions through the following methods:

  1. Accounting: This includes bookkeeping and preparing final Accounts (such as Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Statement).
  2. Budgeting: This includes forecasting techniques, Capital budget, cash flow projection and Master Budget.
  3. Financial Diagnostics: Benchmarking, Ratios/Trend Analysis, Industry Analysis, SWOT.
  4. Strategy Development/Planning: Monitoring strategic performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), Feasibility Study, Internal and External Analysis.

The Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce is described as Jamaica's "Business Ministry." It's mandate is to lead the development of policies that will create growth and jobs, while achieving social inclusion and consumer protection. The Ministry, working its stakeholders is primarily responsible for business policy development, monitoring and evaluation, while giving direction and oversight to a cluster of implementing departments and agencies.

We have, therefore, placed much energy and enthusiasm into the development of this website to provide timely information on the Ministry, our agencies and programmes.
