The JNSBL Agriculture Loan are designed to provide assistance to Micro-entrepreneurs and SMEs to upgrade their farm equipment; purchase seeds, fertilizers, improve operations or purchase a farm vehicle.
Financing for micro enterprises range from J$30,000 to J$500,000 while those for SMEs range from J$501,000 to J$15 million.
Micro-entrepreneurs or SMEs seeking access to this facility must present either of the following collaterals:
Unconventional Collateral e.g. (TV, Stove, Washing Machine, Fridge, Freezer, Component set, Sofa, Dining Table, Chest of Drawers) or an Asset Declaration form, signed and sealed by a Justice of the Peace (JP)
Hypothecation of Deposits
Equipment used in business
Motor Vehicle
Registered titles – land and property
