Accessible to micro and small businesses operating for at least six (6) months, funds can be used to improve, enhance and expand businesses by purchasing tools, equipment, raw materials, stocks and or any other business purpose.
Financing for micro enterprises range from J$30,000 (US$300) to J$500,000 (US$5,000), and for SMEs from JA$501,000 to JA$1.5 million dollars.
The facility is intended to benefit micro-enterprises/SMEs in all sectors that operate a business, for less than six (6) months in the case of micro enterprises. The rate of interest for micro enterprises is 1% per week, with payback duration from 10 to 50 weeks. The rate of interest for SMEs is 25% on the reducing balance.
